2:45Tech can now provide its customers with design, user experience testing, and research within the web development process through collaboration with the University of Tennessee’s User-eXperience Lab (UXL). The connection between UT’s UXL and 2:45Tech’s development environment enables the implementation of positive measurable results so companies can efficiently optimize their user interface design.
The web is the dominant way of interacting with customers through desktop and mobile devices, and it has become clear that the user experience is what drives successful results for business owners. A meaningful website user experience creates positive experiences that lead to brand and product loyalty. 2:45Tech defines the customer journeys for its clients, and the UT UXL does the research and user experience testing to make sure that the journey is as easy and enjoyable as possible for the end-user.
The User Experience Professionals Association defines user experience (UX) as: “Every aspect of the user’s interaction with a product, service, or company that make up the user’s perceptions of the whole. User experience design as a discipline is concerned with all the elements that together make up that interface, including layout, visual design, text, brand, sound, and interaction.”
“We look forward to this collaboration and supporting 2:45Tech clients,” said Rachel Volentine, UT’s UXL Manager. “We believe UX testing is essential to create an efficient, usable, and positive online experience that keeps your users coming back.”
“It is my pleasure to announce that UT’s User-eXperience Lab is now available to 2:45Tech. customers. The UXL is known for its strength in user experience design, research, and testing, and this partnership offers strong support for our business and our clients,” said Scott Spaid, President of 2:45Tech.
About the University of Tennessee User-eXperience Lab
The University of Tennessee is big on tradition and is the first public university chartered west of the Appalachian Divide in 1794. In 2008, the User-eXperience Lab (UXL) was created within the Center for Information and Communication Studies (CICS) to support faculty and student research and provide insights about how people interact with technology and what can be done to improve those interactions. In 2018, the UXL was designated as a UT core facility administered by CICS, which allows the Lab to offer a full range of UX services to the university, government, and private organizations.
