What we like about it:

What we don’t like about it:
Although Wix has a decent selection of themes, its design flexibility is terrible, as it does not allow users to switch themes after they have been published. Wix does not do very well when it comes to blogging either because there is no way to archive posts, meaning your valuable content will be lost over time. In addition, its SEO features are rather basic — apart from updating URLs, customizing meta descriptions, and editing alt tags, there is not much you can do.
Squarespace
What we like about it:
Squarespace is THE platform for design. It is an affordable platform that has some of the most impressive, professional-looking themes you will find on the market, making it an ideal choice for creative professionals who want a sleek, modern website. Squarespace is also a pretty good blogging platform — it offers everything you could need for a successful blog or portfolio, including user likes and support for multiple authors. Oh, and it lets you link accounts from over 25 different social accounts!
What we don’t like about it:
The real issue with Squarespace is that it can be a bit fiddly for beginners to get used to it, even though there is no coding involved. It also falls short on customization and features because it does not have an app market, and like Wix, we find its SEO capabilities to be somewhat limited.
WordPress
What we like about it:
By far the most popular platform, WordPress lets you run wild with customization. There are hundreds of thousands of themes to choose from, and you can tweak your selected template to your heart’s desire. WordPress is a self-hosted software, which means that you can customize it with a code and/or throw in any of the 56,000 plugins you want that will allow you to do whatever it is you want on your site. On top of that, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can be very effective as WordPress, along with a plug-in such as Yoast, enables you to gain control over every aspect of your on-page or technical SEO.
What we don’t like about it:
If you have no idea how to customize everything with code or set up your own website host, you might find WordPress hard to use. Due to its Do-it-yourself nature, we also don’t like that it does not have a clearly laid out pricing structure the way Wix and Squarespace have, as WP’s prices tend to differ due to web hosting, SSL, themes, etc. While the core WordPress code is free to download, you’re on your own when it comes to finding the right components to solve your business challenges.
